The pursuit of “Good Trouble” continues!!
Our mission: The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is to secure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race – based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.
The real work gets accomplished through the "Standing Committees."
Each week or so we will provide a highlight of three of our Richmond-Madison County NAACP Standing Committee. This will allow you to gain insight to their purpose, the scope of their work and if it is of interest to you as a volunteer opportunity.
